Email support@pausemenopause.co. Tell us your app version, device model and what happened. Please do not include detailed health records in your first email.
Subscriptions and the free trial
Eligible new subscribers can start a 14-day free trial. The price and renewal terms are shown before you subscribe. To manage or cancel, open iOS Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and Pause. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. To recover an active purchase, use Restore Purchases in Pause with the Apple Account used for the purchase.
Your journal and data
Pause stores your entries on your device. No Pause account is required and there is no Pause server copy of your journal. Entries do not automatically sync between devices. Use the export and data deletion controls in Profile to save a copy or delete saved data. Shared or exported copies must be managed separately. Export before changing devices or removing the app if you want to keep your records.
Apple Health
Connecting Apple Health is optional. Pause requests read access for selected sleep, heart rate, weight and step data. You can review or revoke permissions in Apple Health. Manual tracking works without connecting.
Optional AI
AI chat and summaries use Apple's on-device model. They require a supported device, iOS 26 or later, Apple Intelligence availability and your consent. Core tracking and calculated insights work without AI. Meal photos are saved as attachments; add a description to record the meal.
Report an AI response
Use the report control beside the response, choose a reason and review the report before sharing it. No report is automatically sent. You can send the reviewed report to support@pausemenopause.co. Share only the information you want us to receive.
Wellness information
Pause is a wellness journal. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent a condition, and AI responses may be inaccurate. Speak with your healthcare professional about symptoms and treatment. For urgent concerns, contact local emergency services.
